Fabulous high quality accommodation, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Beautiful views and so quiet except the movement and calls of animals and birds, the total relaxation venue. A fish eagle flying in the sky and the sea in the distance. The owners have thought of everything to enhance your stay in total privacy. From the minute we walked in, to the day we left we had nothing but an amazing experience. From the well-appointed kitchenette to the super comfortable bed. We used the upstairs lounge area for early morning coffee and watched the sun come up. We even took a dip in the pool. Apart from the comfort of the bed, the fluffy bedding, the comfortable pillows, you experience true tranquility. The silence (just a few nocturnal birds and crickets), the darkness that falls when you're ready to turn in, actually allows your brain to relax switch of. The pool allows for both fun in the sun and the jets gives you the relaxing jaccuzi experience. The weather was Wintery which made for the perfect downtime overlooking the Misty valley. Cottage very well equipped and super neat, clean and safe. The bed was next level comfy - I could easily have snuggled up all day. Lovely private pool outside area which I can imagine would be so enjoyed in Summer! Perfect for a friend getaway or romantic weekend away. Beautiful views! A really special way to celebrate new year after a frenetic end to 2025. We would highly recommend a stay here as a first base on the garden route if travelling from Port Elizabeth. The pool was perfect to cool off in after a hot day exploring the area. There are a number of things to do in the area. The place was spotless, cozy, private, quiet and peaceful — exactly what I needed. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made the whole process smooth. The host was friendly, responsive, and made everything feel effortless. I especially appreciated the gas heater; it came in handy when the weather got chilly and made the space feel extra warm and comfortable. Overall, a great experience. Had a wonderful night sleep on the comfortable bed and very much enjoyed looking at the stars at night from this location. Perfect accommodation for a short stay.
